Valentine’s Day Rolo Pretzel Bites

Milk chocolate. Caramel. Salty pretzel. Could it possibly get much better than that?! Throw on some festive Valentine’s Day sprinkles and you’ve got one easy, grab and go treat that you’ll struggle to stop popping in your mouth!

I recently made these Rolo Pretzel Bites using red and yellow M&Ms for the Super Bowl, (Go Chiefs!) and they were a huge hit at the tailgate party. Kids and adults alike were snagging these each time they walked by. It really does have the best of all the worlds with the sweet and salty in each bite.

Change up the M&Ms and add in festive sprinkles, and these easy Rolo bites are a huge hit for Valentine’s Day!

Start with a bag of pretzel snaps.

I love these for the size over other shape of pretzels because they make a perfect base for Rolos to sit on.

When it comes to buying the Rolos, I would STRONGLY recommend purchasing the unwrapped bags. Unless, of course, you want to spend way too much time unwrapping each individual Rolo…like I did. 🤦‍♀️

Place one unwrapped Rolo on the pretzel snap and pop them in the oven for just 2.5 minutes.

When the Rolos are soft (not melted), top gently with an M&M and sprinkle with your favorite Valentine’s Day sprinkles.

And DONE! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!

Ingredients

1 bag pretzel snaps

1 bag of Rolo candies

1 bag of Valentine’s M&Ms

Valentine’s sprinkles

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place your pretzel snaps evenly on a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper (for easier cleanup).

Place a Rolo in the middle of each pretzel.

Place your cookie sheet on center rack of your oven for 2 1/2 minutes. Remove from oven.

Gently place your M&Ms on top of each Rolo. You don’t need to press down as it will just settle on top of the semi-melted Rolo.

Sprinkle your Valentine’s sprinkles over each Rolo Pretzel Bite.

To immediately stop the melting process, place the cookie sheet in the freezer for 5 minutes.

Enjoy your yummy Valentine’s treat!
