We are in full swing of holiday parties and hosting, and I’m giddy with excitement over it all. Our fall is such a busy time with sports and school activities and now we have the opportunity to have people over, host family, and sit down for a meal that may take 30 minutes or we may sit for 4 hours. I love this time of year because of the togetherness and the chance to laugh with the ones you love. If you’ve been here for any stretch of time, you know that food brings up so many memories and traditions in my family. Gathering around a table is one of my fondest memories of my holidays.
On my table, a centerpiece is something beautiful, yet subtle. It’s got a sparkle but it doesn’t overwhelm. And it’s LOW because no one likes to have to look around something too tall and grand just to have a conversation (if you know, YOU KNOW.).

Today, I’m here to share a simple centerpiece that can be recreated with many things that you have at your home, as well. Have a dough bowl? Perfect! Let’s recreate this together! Cutting boards? Will work great! Wooden chargers? Low wicker basket? Just a table runner? It can all be adapted to work for you!

I took a wooden dough bowl, filled it with pine stems and a great contrasting gold, and added in the star of the show…lit wooden sticks that bring a great sparkle to the whole piece.

My go-to spot to grab realistic, budget-friendly stems is Joann Fabrics (and the prices are stellar!!), but I stumbled across these gold stems at Michaels this season and I knew I wanted them to shine in my centerpiece this year, as well. That got me to shopping and I found some amazing pieces that came together so beautifully!

To recreate my centerpiece, you’ll need:
2- 22″ Pine and Pinecone Stems
2 – Pinecone and Ornament Stems
2 sets of Assorted Starburst LED crafting lights

I hope this brought a little inspiration and ideas for your holiday table this year! If you want to see real-time how it all came together, come check out my Instagram Reel and give a little love. I’d love to be friends on there!
Happy Hosting and Happy Holidays!
