Amazon knocks it out of the park when it comes to faux stems. The brands they carry, the variety they have, the sheer quality in the majority of their pieces, and the absolute unheard of price points, make it a constant winner when it comes to achieving a beautiful fall look with faux stems. However, you don’t really know what you’re in store for until you get it on your front porch, right? Although 5,000 people absolutely loved the product, you may get it and think, “How in the world?!”
So I took to Instagram Stories yesterday and I opened and reviewed five of Amazon’s best-selling faux fall stems. It was all about initial opinions right out of the box, styling options, and my very best review of each one after I floofed and fussed over each one. Today, I’m sharing those here for you to reference and use as your guide. I’m here to help you sort through the favorites and find the perfect budget-friendly fall stems from Amazon that will be perfect for your home this season!
35 Inch Artificial Eucalyptus Stems

I made sure to add the height of these to the label because these are HUGE! Almost three feet from base to tip of the stem and that height creates the most gorgeous, full vase to sit atop your table this season.
Many times, when you are talking about fall stems, the colors can be bright and overpowering. When I opened these beautiful gold and brown stems, I immediately fell in love. They are such a gorgeous subtle color that can be put on a kitchen table, in an entryway, or on a large bookshelf as a pretty backdrop.
These eucalyptus leaves are a fabric that comes out of the box in very good shape. I didn’t even have to steam these before placing them in a vase. HUGE BONUS! I can tell they were packaged well and if packaged properly at the end of the season, will come back year after year looking good as new.
These come in a set of 6, which I have styled below. However, if you have a vase with a smaller opening to it, you could easily get away with only using 3-4 to still get a full look. These are very full and make quite the statement! First set of pretty brown eucalyptus stems are staying and I can’t wait to use these year after year!
6 Piece Artificial Eucalyptus Stems

Another eucalyptus stem…but VERY different from the brown one I shared above. This stem is made of a very soft fabric with paper wrapped stems. The ability to pose these stems in ANY way is unreal. You can adjust and these stems aren’t going anywhere. VERY strong wire wrapped in floral paper make these something unlike any of the others. However, my PSA is that these CANNOT GET WET. If these got wet while out during the season or while being packed away, they would likely lose all shape and even possibly gather mold. Yikes.
I was extremely impressed with the color of these fall stems and I feel like they give a beautiful touch of orange, yellow and brown to an overall neutral palette so far in my home. I was hesitant at first because I was unsure of their texture, but leaves are sturdy, can be smoothed out with just your fingers if there is any wrinkling, and I love their ability to just stay put. I ended up keeping these right on my bookshelves in my Livingroom for a pretty pop of color. Not too bright, but just the right amount of fall color. There are more color options with these faux eucalyptus stems which appear brighter so if you’re looking for more, the options are there for you. Another keeper!
Burgundy Baby’s Breath Stems

Last up, we’ve got these 6 piece baby’s breath bundles that I purchased a few weeks ago. I absolutely LOVE the color of these. The deepest burgundy that pop so beautifully against my white kitchen and neutral vase. These are shorter stems and sit best with an 8″ pot like this Walmart one again.
I will say that these show a lot more stem than the others because the flowers are so small. Usually the stem is so hidden by big showy flowers or plenty of leaves. Since this has neither, you see a lot more stem. It’s not a bad thing, but just a warning. From five feet or more back, it blends in and is not even a consideration.
The flowers are tiny, fabric flowers all bloomed to make this one of my followers very favorites this season. I created an Instagram reel weeks ago and since then, I’ve had so many people ask me for the link. I think I’m as big of a fan of these as they are!
65 Piece Pampas Grass

I am very much in love with the soft browns and neutral tans that come in this season. I have multiple wheat wreaths that I use around my home during this time of year and when I saw this pampas grass for only $12.99 (!!!!), I had to give these a try. When I unboxed this 65 piece pampas grass, I was shocked at how incredibly soft they are. Too many times, the “wheat-look” gives off very scratchy and stiff pieces. I feel like these could double as a stress reliever tool by just sitting and stroking them! PSA: They are messy getting out of the box and into a vase, but once you get them situated, they don’t shed or lose much else.
These are shorter stems so I have them styled below in an 8″ vase I painted from Walmart. It fills the vase FULLY and by coming in 65 piece and 100 piece options, you could purchase one set and use it in multiple vases around your home.
These could also be a perfect addition to a beautiful fall wreath this season. It would be a little messy getting them firmly in place, but once they are situated, WOW!
Because of their short size, I added these to a pretty terracotta vase on my coffee table and it makes for the most perfect height. Not blocking the TV or any conversation. Soft colors to not bring so much attention. And the perfect backdrop to add pops of color with pumpkins all season long! These pampas grass stems are a keeper, for sure!!
35 Inch Artificial Maple Leaf Branches
I thought these maple leaves would be a perfect budget-friendly version of Afloral’s burgundy maple leaves; but unfortunately, these just don’t cut it. The color is a very bright red (a little too bright for my liking) and the material is extremely papery. When I pulled these out, the leaves were so wrinkled, it took me a solid 5 minutes to just steam out ONE STEM. These didn’t come packaged well, but I don’t know that I would be able to do much better year after year. I see little staying power with these ones. Very flimsy, papery, and poorly packaged. I knew from the very start that these just weren’t going to stay.

4/5 isn’t too shabby!! Which one of these is your favorite?
