Deeply into painting my basement and it got me thinking just how many tricks and hacks I do every day that save me so much time and stress! Simple things that pay off MASSIVELY when you paint your home!

Basement Walls are FINISHED!! ✨

It doesn’t seem like much but taking down a drop ceiling left gaps in the drywall, huge chunks of it missing, and so much to be repaired!

The second I put in @sherwinwilliams Anonymous on the walls, it made all the tedious work WORTH IT! 👊🏻 This color is a stunning green-gray mushroom color that contrasts the dark ceiling and the neutral carpeting so well 👌🏻 Sophisticated, dimensional, and oh so stunning!

After so much time replacing and fixing, it’s time for the good stuff! It’s on to work on our “movie room” and to decorate this space.

✨ Guest Room/Office Combo is DONE!! ✨ It was a bit by bit, project after project space, but I can now officially say that this room is done and I LOVE IT!! I’m inspired every time I step foot inside.

There was a problem in our home with a wasted room, but with a little creativity, a lot of perseverance, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone day after day, I added extra square footage to our home in a way that works for us!

✨ Most Commonly Asked Paint Color ✨Out of all the rooms and projects done, this board and batten wall still gets this question above all others…and for good reason! @sherwinwilliams Evergreen Fog is a beautiful green-gray that made our entryway more welcoming and charming instantly. Paint can do magical things!

Now off to find the perfect paint color for our basement walls because that space is getting a makeover this week! 👊🏻
