Amazon Spring Florals ⋆ Growing Up Kemper

A good stem or a life-like faux flower can transform your space on a budget and is one sure fire way to brighten your space and welcome in spring. Right now, Amazon is thriving at not only the variety, but the quality, as well. You can nab a 6 pack of stems for 1/2 (or even less!) of the cost of any other store, and with almost no difference in quality.

Today I’m rounding up 5 of the best-selling stems that are highly reviewed online and have become my go-to additions for the past 2 spring seasons! These have passed every test in the book and I can stand behind their quality.

4-Piece Faux Olive Branch Stems

These stand 37″ from stem to end of leaves, which makes them perfect for a tall vase on the middle of your table or as a standout piece on a console. I love how these contrast so beautifully against this blue and white vase (sorry…Home Goods) and make a great focal point among the more neutral pieces I have styled here. But they also don’t stand so tall that they obstruct any view to the living room.

Stems can be easily manipulated and bent to fill out any vase you choose, and stand as tall you’d like or shortened down to fill your space perfectly.

6-Piece Hydrangea Stems

Hydrangea stems have come so far in becoming more life-like, and these stems from Amazon really do take the cake! These petals are extremely soft, sturdy, and pop up out of the package very well with minimal fluffing. To make them full, I spun them in my hands for a bit and then used the cool setting on my hair dryer to really fluff them out to what they appear in these photos.

Even the leaves on these stems are more realistic than typical stems. Sometimes the green leaves can look so harsh against pretty flowers, but these are beautiful faux leaves that can really accent the flowers or can be snipped off if they overwhelm in the vase you choose.

The stems stand at just under 18″ tall so they work best with a small to medium sized vase. I have them in my glass and rattan vase that’s 8″ tall. Also could work well with a more wide set jar opening since they have such width to the flower stems. I used 4 to fit in this vase.

20-Piece Artificial Silk Tulips

I’d be shocked if you haven’t seen at least one person on social media raving about these faux tulips! For two years straight, these have been gracing the tabletops of so many people’s homes, and for very good reason. These faux tulips are so extremely life-like…in their appearance, in their feel, and even in the way they lay in a vase. These flowers are MAGIC! And new this year, they have a beautiful 20-piece multicolor variation that brings so many spring colors with the same great life-like appearance!

I love using these in a wide mouth vase like the one I DIYed below so that they really show off that typical tulip “lay.” And the stems are strong enough to be able to hold however you want them to sit within your arrangement. Each stem is 13.5″ long.

4-Piece Cherry Blossom Stems

These are such pretty little stems that bring me so much joy. This set comes in a 4 piece set and stand only 17″ high. These aren’t as full as the other faux stems I’ve listed, but they do pack quite a punch for as small as they are. I love contrasting these pretty pink flowers with a black or terracotta vase to really make them pop. Maybe it’s just my love for the trees that pop these pretty little flowers out in springtime, but these truly bring me so much happiness.

I took a couple of the stems and snipped them off to give more height to some, with shorter stems with others. I feel like it gives more of the appearance of true cherry blossoms blooming on a tree.

I would say these need to be in a smaller mouth vase because when they have the space to move around, it tends to look too sparse. By bundling them close together, like below, they look so pretty.

Up close, you do see the fabric for these flowers and the ridged detail in the petals, the different colored stems, and how they branch off to create a fuller look.

6-Piece Eucalyptus Stems

I’ve had these eucalyptus stems for AGES. We’re talking 5+ years that I’ve used every spring and summer season. And no matter how they’re stored, they come back looking strong and beautiful year after year. The stems are so strong and have been able to bend and be staged in whatever vase I’ve used them for. Plus, the leaves have remained in tact and realistic over all this time.

These stand at 24″ tall so not as tall as other greenery stems, but work really well in medium sized vases on a table. And this one set can actually be broken into multiple different vases because the fullness of each.

The leaves are soft and the color is a beautiful soft, sage green color. At under $15 for a 6-piece set, these are a great addition to springtime vase!

When there are so many choices and so many websites to shop through, I can stand by these 5 stems as beautiful options to add some color and some springtime to your home!
