Welcome! My name is Rachel and I’m a 30-something living in Kansas City. I’m a “retired” teacher turned stay at home mama to my two sweet boys and my baby girl. I’m a lover of all things DIY, home decor, gardening, cooking, cleaning (yeah, I said it!), and making each and everyday special for my precious family of five.
I choose crazy early workout sessions because I’m a firm believer that your whole day is formed by how you spend your first hour so you might as well make it a positive one! I try to follow that up with putting healthy food into my body, but occasionally Chic-Fil-A has a way of sneaking in!
I’m full of faith and believe that there is a higher reason for all that we experience through life. Bumps and bruises in life make relationships stronger when they need them and help guide your mind to a healthier place for a reason we don’t even realize yet.
I’ve been married to my sweet hubby, Mr. Kemper, for 8 years now. Isn’t he cute?
We are so blessed to have hands-down the two cutest little boys and little girl that ever existed. Like ever. 🙂 Jackson Cruz is 6 and Colton Jay is 4 and Mya Marguerite is 2.
I mean, come on!!
I grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Kansas City about 12 years ago for a wonderful teaching position. While I miss the classroom, being blessed to stay home with my littles and watch them take on this world is the best job I could ever ask for – no question!
Growing Up Kemper is a lifestyle blog that chronicles our simple, yet beautiful life, as well as some tips for how to make each moment as a mama, a wife, a general woman in this world maybe just a little more fun!
Stay awhile! Let’s be friends!
