The Christmas Tree Upgrade: Discovering the Magic of King of Christmas

For many years, more years than I’d like to admit, I settled for my very sparse, plasticy Black Friday Walmart Christmas tree. I would pull it out of it’s box and think, “Welp, I’ll add more ornaments and winter sprigs to spruce it up so no one will notice.” But the amount that I was adding to my tree became too much of a process , the needles shed was simply unbearable any longer, and just how fake it looked was making me dread putting it up. It was time for a much-needed intervention.

They’ve created a “power pole” that eliminates the need for any cords running from the top of your tree. When the three pieces of the tree are attached together and the one plug at the base of the tree is plugged into an outlet, the entire tree lights up. There is also an attached, convenient button push on the ground for simple turning on and off. Oh, AND a remote is included to allow you to set a timer, change the twinkling effect, or simply turn on and off from a push of a button.

How I Decorated my Yorkshire Fir

I chose to lean in to the classic appeal of this Christmas tree with a simple white yarn garland, accented with the stunning My Texas House crystal garland. Since the tree is so beautiful in itself, I knew I could go more minimal and still have such a dramatic ‘wow’ factor! All big balls on this tree in deep, bold colors that light up and shine with the warm twinkle light setting.
