It’s almost Halloween, which means Christmas decorating is right around the corner, right? We’re going to see beautiful garlands and twinkle lights filling our social media feeds come Saturday. And believe me, I’m ready for it more than most. However, there is still Thanksgiving to think about and most of us don’t want our Thanksgiving table to be decked out for Christmas. So whether you believe that Thanksgiving and fall decor lives on until after November 27th, or you’re someone who decorates for Christmas starting November 1st, I’ve got a warm and texture-filled Thanksgiving tablescape that is budget-friendly and simple to set out for all your Thanksgiving guests this year!

Low Profile Centerpiece that You Can Talk Over
No one likes to have to manuever around a centerpiece that’s too tall to see everyone over. When it comes to Thanksgiving, it’s all about togetherness, thankfulness, and enjoying sitting around the table. To nail down the colors of this tablescape, I stopped by Trader Joes to find beautiful fall florals to inspire me. I soaked floral foam and placed it inside this gorgeous low ceramic stone bowl and added my florals. This was what I wanted to work off on the table: deep maroons, browns, ivory, and mixed textures.

Tableware Full of Texture

To add all the texture to the table, I chose tableware that included varying colors, patterns, and details. These $3 (WOW!!) ivory plates have a beautiful lip to them that coordinates so well with the scalloped bowls, while the brown salad plate brings in a stunning brown with gorgeous detailing. To flow well, I chose small amber glasses to flank the plates and bring it altogether with the plates and rattan oval placemats.

Fabrics to Bring it All Together
To cover the table, I fell in love with the prettiest floral pattern and colors in this Sage and Ivory Tablecloth. It gives a pretty accent color while also being a gentle background to all the deeper fall colors on the table.

Running down the middle, I chose this deep maroon table runner that matches the colors in the centerpiece and napkins. For the napkins, these terracotta block and floral napkins give a brightness and fun to your place setting. I love to fold them in this way to hold all your silverware for your guests. This is also a great way to keep your silverware from taking up any extra space in those extra stuffed tables. Folding them this way also allows you to add place cards at the bottom!

Bud Vases and Candlesticks
No Thanksgiving table is complete without the Nancy Meyers touch of a beautiful candle stick. I found these twisted beige candles at Walmart for less than a dollar (!!) and added them to these vintage green and amber bud vases. I didn’t want anything too tall as the goal is to SEE everyone at your table. 🙂

All pieces I used have been linked through the post or you can shop them all through THIS LINK.
Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, and Merry Christmas – whichever one you’re decorating for this week, I hope it brings you happiness and joy!
