Sugar cookie + Chocolate Ganache + Your Favorite Holiday Toppings = This Glorious Cookie Recipe!
1 Package of pre-made Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons of your favorite hot cocoa mix
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Favorite toppings: crushed candy canes, mini marshmallows, caramel sauce
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put 1 tablespoon (or one pre-made piece) of sugar cookie dough into greased muffin tin.
Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are beginning to brown. With the end of a wooden spoon, gently press down on the center of each cookie to create a cookie cup. Let cookies cool in the muffin tin for 20 minutes before taking each out to cool.
Meanwhile, bring whipping cream to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in hot cocoa mix.
Pour hot cream mix over the semi-sweet chocolate chips and let it sit for 3 minutes. Then, stire until the chocolate chips are melted and the ganache is smooth.
Spoon the ganache into each cookie cup. Top with your favorite holiday toppings.
Keep in refrigerator for best results.
