4th of July Party Ideas

I’ve always loved everything about 4th of July. The fireworks, the food, the summer games, the parade, the reverting back to a slower time with friends and family. All that nostalgia and tradition makes my heart so happy.

Jerod even proposed to me on a night with 4th of July fireworks!

What babies!! And I was so unsuspecting that THIS is what I was wearing when he proposed…๐Ÿคจ

Growing up in Pennsylvania, we weren’t allowed to set off our own fireworks, so I was a sparkler child. Waving those little fire sticks around and loving every minute of it! Now that I live in Missouri where fireworks are legal outside the KC city limits, I’m blown away that we have the ability to set off professional grade fireworks from a field. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ The first time I went out to my in-laws property to set off these massive fireworks, I was told so many stories about fireworks gone wrong. Wait…what?!

But alas, as much as I may be terrified of setting off huge fireworks sans a massive fire suit, I love the 4th of July more than most.

So are you throwing a little shindig this 4th? Looking for a little party inspiration? Or maybe just planning a fun day at home with your kids? I’ve got you covered! I scoured online to find all the perfect dinnerware to decor to simple party pieces that will make your 4th fun, festive, and oh so Americana!
