I’ve shared so many different ideas for holiday decorating this year already. From your console table to your stairs to your fireplace, and tomorrow I’ll be sharing a gorgeous, simple tablescape for your upcoming holiday parties or dinners. But one area that I’ve really been focusing on in my home this year is a place that I’ve never thought much about in the past. My WALLS!
I’ve found an easy, super cost-efficient way to bring a little holiday cheer to your artwork without breaking the bank and I’ve been so excited to share it with you today! It’s one of those secrets that’s just too good not to share! So here I am, a girlfriend sharing with her other girlfriends, a way to get stunning artwork for a couple dollars each. Yep! A couple bucks!!
A couple weeks ago, I shared a DIY Christmas Wall Scroll tutorial with you which made such a difference in my home and it had me looking at other areas that were lacking a little ‘something something.’ Above my bed, my kitchen counter, and one area in my livingroom were big ones.
To cut the cost to a fraction, I hopped on to one of my favorite sites, Etsy, and got to shopping!
With frames I already owned, and using my home printer, I purchased these adorable Reindeer ($3.50) and Be a Rudolph prints ($6) and placed them on my kitchen counter.

With a splash of red berries in a pretty ceramic vase beside it, these prints give a charming and festive touch to this normally minimal corner of my kitchen!

When I painted our bedroom last year, I finally added in a new headboard. Woohoo…so grown up! But, the art we had above our previous one could no longer fit and it’s sat as an empty wall ever since. I purchased my go-to gold poster frame and printed this beautiful winter tree scene watercolor ($5) to hang above.

This will be perfect well passed Christmas and can easily be replaced with a more seasonal one when spring hits. To print this, I uploaded the 16×20″ size to Staples.com. They printed it for me in color within 2 hours and it cost all less than $20!

And finally, I had a large frame in my livingroom that had a beach scene. It’s perfect for all other times of the year, but I decided I wanted something for the holidays. When I found this Nativity print ($4) on Etsy, I knew it was perfect.

The watercolors are absolutely beautiful and I love this addition to my home. It’s such a striking print and I’ve received so many compliments on this since I hung it.

Etsy has thousands of beautiful prints that you can spend just a few dollars purchasing. You can find exactly your interests, your color tones, or your holiday to brighten up your spaces for next to nothing. Snag a pretty frame or use one you already own and dress up those walls this holiday season! It’s a secret that’s just too great not to share!
