You guys LOVED seeing the dinner ideas in my August Meal Ideas post last month, so with September knocking on our door, I wanted to share what I’m planning to make for the first month of fall. A little grilling, a little comfort food, and a lot of simplicity as we get back into the busyness of Back to School (so far!), fall sports (maybe!), and possibly even a football weekends (fingers crossed!).
I’ve found plenty of simple, hearty meals for the whole family from some of my favorite food bloggers and by scouring Pinterest. Follow along with my Recipes boards to see everything I’m looking to make for my crew!
So here’s what I’m monthly meal planning for my very favorite month of the year, September…
20-Minute Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

Balsamic Steak Gorgonzola Salad with Grilled Corn

Copycat Panera Autumn Squash Soup

Beef Short Rib Pasta

Olive Garden Chicken Gnocchi Soup

Sheet Pan Brats with Roasted Vegetables

Pineapple Chicken and Rice

Saucy Bleu Cheese Brisket Sandwiches

Cheesy Cauliflower Nachos
I can’t decide if this is going to be my side dish to a meal or if I could live off this recipe for the whole month. This looks amazing!!

Crack Broccoli
Olive oil, lemon zest, RANCH SEASONING, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan?! This is already looking to be a favorite.

Baked Apple Cinnamon Donuts
I’m making these for the morning after Labor Day just to celebrate the “unofficial start to fall” the very best way I know how! These are gluten-free donuts, but from the comments, no one can seem to tell they are! Yum, Mama Knows Gluten-Free!

September is the month of gorgeous change in so many ways. Let’s take this month to make something beautiful for our families and warm our hearts and our bellies just a little bit more. Happy Meal Planning, Everyone!
